HIGH COURT

Third Highest in the land- Cases are heard by High Court Judges. It is divided into different
divisions e.g. Commercial Division, Land Division, Anti- Corruption Division etc. Some cases
known as capital offences e.g. murder, rape, aggravated defilement etc are heard before this
court since Magistrates court have no powers to decide on them.
